Where did the month go?

Easton was a reindeer at school one day (he's so cute)

 We made a few sugar cookies.

 And Christmas came so fast....

This is what Santa brought

 This year they gave each other gifts. We had them exchange them on Christmas night after the excitement of the day went away.

Santa brought too much :-) Livi got doll house which will be so fun and she plays with for hours. Easton didn't get anything big just a few more toys to play with, and use his imagination. We had a fun Christmas and I can't believe the year is over.

My parents gave us a VACATION with NO KIDS!! I am way excited to go but nervous to leave the kids behind. We have the best neighbors ever that are taking them for us.

Advent Calendar

I made an advent calendar!

I got the idea from pinterest which leads you here http://www.tealandlime.com/2011/12/punch-game-advent-calendar-tutorial/

I did a few things differently hoping it would be easier. I never take step by step pics so I tried, but forgot :-)

Supplies: Box, Cups, Rubber Bands, Paper, Tissue paper, Numbers, and Candy. 

 I traced the cups on the box and started cutting. 

 This is where I stopped with the step by step (not very far I know) after that I wrapped the box with wrapping paper. I cut squares out of the tissue paper and stuck my numbers on it. I filled each cup with candy used a rubber band to put the tissue paper on the cups. I felt where the holes were, stuck the scissors through to give me a hole, then stuck the cups in. I will take another pic tomorrow and add it showing the empty cup so you can kind of see it. 

Here is the finished project. I decided to put days until christmas I thought it would be easier of Easton to understand.

 Here is the apron I made for Harper, one of my last posts there was the one I made for Livi. 

 Livi trying it on I am sure it will be big on Harper but hopefully she likes it. 

 I made a decoration for my door, it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but it works.

 Here is an apron my mom made for Livi. I saw it on another blog, then pinned it on pinterest. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but still wasn't too bad.

Can someone tell me what I did in my settings or what I need to fix so my background looks right?

October

So I have been slacking on the blogging..I am trying to decide if I even want to blog anymore I think no one really looks at it so what's the point.

For now I will try to keep blogging so here is October in a nutshell :-)

Learning to do hair at an early age

 

 We had hand foot and mouth disease and then we ALL got pink eye, here is Livi's pink eye

 My new favorite thing for Livi's wardrobe Leg Warmers!! I need to get more. 

 The pumpkin Patch It was so nice outside I don't think we have ever been to the pumpkin patch where we took our boots off as soon as we were done.

 We were outside and Livi decided she wanted to come out too. I told her to go back inside and get shoes and a jacket on. This is what she came out with. I had her change but needed a quick pic.

 We went on the Halloween cruise down in Provo. It was fun, not sure if I would do it again but it is nice spending time with the fam. We went with my parents and my sister. 

 We went to the Scarecrow Festival, the kids had fun and didn't want to leave. 

 We painted our pumpkins instead of carving this year.

 HALLOWEEN....here is the cow and the messenger of death. We had a fun day/night. 

 I decided to dress up a little bit.

 We went trick-or-treating with Harper (their cousin) 

 Me and my Cousin/Sister-in-law I'm glad someone else besides the kids dressed up :-)

 Easton was done after an hour, he said he had enough candy and wanted to go home. So Richard took the kids straight home on the long board. 

 We ended our night hanging out by the fire, having marshmellows and handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters. It was so nice not to be freezing on Halloween night. 

Livi's Field Trip

 In the Fire Engine, did you know there is a difference between a fire engine and a fire truck? I guess field trips are for parents too :-)

She had a fun day on her first field trip. Now she asks almost everyday if she is going on one. 

Time for a change...

I REALLY wanted to do something different with my hair but wasn't sure what. This is the best before pic I could find. Surprisingly I don't have very many pics of me, not sure how that happens. :-)

 And what I decided to do, not the best pic but whatever. I feel refreshed, isn't it weird a hair cut and some color makes you feel better. 

Alivia's First Day of Preschool

Livi's first day of preschool!!

She was so excited to go and she loved it.

 Here she is with her teacher Ms. Wendy. Livi really likes her which I think helps with Livi being comfortable and she was totally fine when I left her. She actually started walking in with out Ms. Wendy. 

 My mom and I took the kids out to DQ to celebrate her 1st day and Easton's surviving the 1st week of school!!

 She wouldn't look at my mom so this was the best pic I could get. Oh well what do you do

Tuesday and Thursday I have a quiet house for 2 hrs. I'm not sure what to do :-)
