I'm finally blogging about our Fourth of July weekend. Beware there are A LOT of pictures.
Me and Easton started on July 3rd going to Centerville park to watch the BIG fireworks. Here is the crowd that was there.
Me and E right before the fireworks started. This was actually his first BIG firework show we went to and he LOVED it. He was clapping and cheering most of the time.
We went with my parents, Maddi and Mason. I'm pretty sure Alivia was in bed by this point.
We started the fourth by going to the centerville parade. Here's me and E we sat on the curb so we could get all the candy and see all the action.
Some of the crew. Alivia loved the parade too, she was clapping and dancing for the first 20 min.
The kids with their bags of goodies they fought for JK Mason stood the whole time to make sure he could get enough candy for him and Easton. Mason was our candy getter.
Later that day we played with the neighbors, then started our 2nd annual BBQ and car race with them. Here we are eating dinner.
Our neighbors did car races with their family when they lived in Cali. so they decided last year that we should start the tradition here with all the neighbors. The rules: you can have any car but you must use peecole petes (not sure about the spelling) you can have as many on your car as you want. Here our are cars mine is the pink one Easton's is in the middle then Richard's.
Everyone that joined the race this year.
The winners: Jaycee and Jess The Losers: Richard and Easton at least he still gets a prize :-)
After racing we sat around and tried to waste time until it was dark enough to do fireworks. Here are the kids running in and around smoke bombs.
The little ones playing on the slide
Amber had a great idea to get the rollerblades out and have a race. Here is Easton with some skates on. Sadly I did not get any pictures just video of the adults racing.
Then we got the Wii out and played Wii fit well mostly hula hoop. It was fun to watch everyone and it was another way to waste some time.
Finally it's getting dark. We had smores for our firework treat.
Watching the fireworks
I think he was like this the whole time, they were just too loud.
Surprisingly she did pretty good. Every so often she whined a little but she seemed to enjoy them.
Ryan and Jess enjoying the neighbor firework show.
Thanks for hanging in with all my pictures!! I hope everyone else had a fun holiday. Can't wait for next year maybe I'll finally win the car race.
Oh, and thanks to our neighbors who have been so nice and are fun to be around.
