Camping

So I decided it would be fun to go "camping" in the backyard :-) We invited my family over and the plan was to cook hot dogs on the fire, have smores and sleep in a tent

Instead the wind picked up A LOT so we grilled the hot dogs and never got the tents set up :-(

Here are the kids eating out of the wind. My plate got taken from me by the wind but we still wanted to be camping so we stayed outside for awhile. 

Then decided we were sick of the wind and I had a craft to do. I thought we would be doing them outside but this works too. 

Mason and Easton finished theirs first and I had to get a picture before I lost them. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of Maddi's finished project. I am going to go buy more so we can have a Halloween village, I think they turned out pretty cute. 

The weather got nicer so we could do smores!!

It didn't work out exactly how I thought but it was still fun. Since the kids ended up going home we are going to do it all over again next week and hope for better weather, so we can sleep in tents.
