Bird Nest

One day we noticed a nest on top of our light, we were wondering how long it had been there for :-) It couldn't have been more then a day or two.

Here is the mom bird sitting in it. She is very protective, it's too bad it's right by the front door so every time we open it she flies off. She stays very close to it and chirps at us if we are out there too long. 

Here are the eggs she is protecting.

I don't want to make her too mad at me, but I'm going to try to take more pictures. I think it will be fun for the kids to see the baby birds.
