First Days of School

Easton started Kindergarten!! He was so excited

This is the first day of school but for him it was orientation day. He informed me there were a lot of kids there that day :-) It's hard to see but he has a big smile on his face. This was the first for me too, I've always been the student never the parent on the first day of school. I might have been more nervous then him.

 Here he is in his spot. The kid next to him took a triangle from him that day so now any time he says something about him it starts out "the kid who took the triangle" 

 So this is the OFFICIAL FIRST DAY of school. He asked me on the way there, are you going to leave me. I asked him if he wanted me to leave him, so I could get a feel on if it was okay to say yes. He said yes and seemed totally okay with it.  

 Here he is walking to his class where they line up, this was the last picture I got. When you are trying to figure out what is going on and teach him what he needs to do, it's kind of hard to take pictures too. 

No tears for either of us. I'm sad he is growing up, but excited for him to learn new things and meet new friends. He seemed excited too. Plus he gets to ride the bus, now that I'm not 100% sure about yet :-) I am a nervous Mom when he comes to the bus.

 I just hope he is excited the whole year and never fights me to go to school. He did tell me I woke him up too early the other day because he was tired when he came home from school.  I just told him he needed to go to bed earlier. 

Next week Livi starts preschool...they grow up way too fast.
